Notepad is designed for the creation and editing of plain ASCII text files which do not require formatting and are smaller than 64K. The most notable addition, which will bring tears of joy to those who have had the misfortune to use the program regularly in the past, is that it now remembers when you have checked the Word Wrap option and launches with it already in effect.
